People tend to spend time with their families this time of year. Throughout my life, my mother has always called me on my BS. And boy has there been a lot of it (thx for that, ma). It’s our families that know us the longest – more so than your spouses – and call you on the crap usually because they love you. So get ready to hear some of these beauties the next 2 weeks…
Marketing mostly used to be an art and it was tough to prove its value quantitatively. It was a guessing game and simplistic- not overly reliable from the business perspective. Today it has changed into a data-driven science; dealing with savvy customers who have been radically empowered. The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is at the center of this renaissance and over half of CEOs say the CMO is well positioned to become the new CEO. All of this has come about due to the Cloud, and we are just at the beginning of this transformation. Is your business ready?
The data is in. You really can’t deny it anymore. The seasons don’t change the way they used to at your office. People who were warm to you now get over the top angry. You look around at the staff and you realize there are less of them now, you hear they are all working virtually or offshore, but you don’t know, maybe the office environment just can’t sustain people any more.
