Josh Evans is a Medical Device Recruiter at Hobson Associates, a nationally recognized executive search firm specializing in medical devices, digital health, and diagnostics. Based in Central Connecticut, Josh partners with fast-growing MedTech companies throughout North America to recruit top-tier talent across sales, marketing, engineering, regulatory, and clinical roles.
Before joining Hobson, Josh built a strong foundation in B2B sales and talent acquisition. He began his recruiting career at Randstad USA, focusing on temp-to-hire and direct hire staffing, helping clients meet hiring goals with speed and precision. He also gained valuable sales experience at Paychex, delivering HCM solutions to small businesses with fewer than 55 employees—sharpening his consultative selling skills and business acumen.
Josh supported campus recruiting initiatives at the University of Connecticut, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication. Known for his energy, relationship-building skills, and results-driven mindset, he approaches every search with enthusiasm and precision.
Outside of work, Josh lives with his girlfriend and their 4-year-old Rottweiler, Leo. He’s a dedicated sports fan—cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers and FC Barcelona—and enjoys golfing, lifting weights, and learning how to ski.
