Barbara Wisausky

Manager of Finance and Business Services

Barbara is at the core of the company’s staff, handling human resources, accounting and business services for both, Hobson Associates and AccordingToDanny, LLC. She is instrumental in the day-to-day operations of both companies. She began her career with Hobson Associates in 1999 as Office Manager and simultaneously worked as Executive Assistant for AccordingToDanny, LLC. Barbara is responsible for all accounting for the Web-based training company along with Danny’s speaking schedule, in addition to her full duties at Hobson Associates.

Barbara was honored her first year of employment with “The Jackie” award, as the staff member who most embodies the ideals of Hobson Associates. The award is based on team spirit, attitude, effort, dedication and loyalty.

Barbara’s strength is her unique ability to keep everyone organized. She can juggle several projects at a time and still have a moment to help an employee through a difficult situation. Her position requires high-level confidentiality, a quality valued by her peers.

Barbara has a varied background in office administration, bookkeeping and database administration, having worked with Nimslo Professional Products, GTE Spacenet and Ikon Office Solutions. She has served the Connecticut Association of Personnel Services (CAPS) as bookkeeper since 2004. She has also served as Treasurer for the New England Association of Personnel Services (NEAPS) since 2007. She is very active in her church and has co-chaired her high school reunion committee for the past 15 years.

Fun Fact

Barbara has a hairdressing license, but refuses to cut anyone’s hair except her husband’s.
