As the Director of Business Development for Life Sciences at Hobson Associates, Alex Halstead leverages his extensive background to drive growth across all platforms within the Life Science sector. His strategic vision and industry expertise make him an invaluable asset to the team.
Alex brings a wealth of experience, beginning his career at Enterprise Rent-a-car and quickly rising to Area Manager, overseeing 8 stores and a team of 52 employees. He then moved to Indianapolis, excelling in professional networking within the commercial real estate title space. His talent for building connections led him to the recruiting industry with a temp-to-hire firm, and later, into the pharma services Direct Hire business. There, he played a pivotal role in developing a Life Science practice, collaborating with business development reps and leading a team of eight recruiters.
Alex earned a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Valparaiso University. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, basketball, and softball, and loves spending time with his two kids. A die-hard supporter of Wisconsin sports, he passionately follows the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
