I’m recruiting for an established medical device contract manufacturer in the San Luis Obispo area that is looking for a hands-on Quality professional with an opportunity that offers something you don’t see very often:

?? A clearly defined path into the Quality Manager role.

They are NOT looking for someone who is already an established Quality Manager or Director.

They want someone who has built a strong foundation in medical device Quality and is ready for the next step in their career.

The Quality function is currently being led on a contract basis by an experienced Quality professional who has known members of the senior leadership team for decades. The plan is for this person to work alongside that leadership, learn the business, take increasing ownership of Quality, and ultimately transition into the Quality Manager role.

That progression is part of the plan for this hire.

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR:

? Medical device Quality experience
? ISO 13485 / FDA-regulated environment
? CAPA, NCRs and nonconformance
? Audits and Quality Systems
? Validation experience
? Someone comfortable being hands-on and working directly with manufacturing
? A person who wants to grow into leadership—not someone who needs the Manager title on day one
