They’re seeking a Product Development, Workers Compensation professional to play a key role in shaping and enhancing workers' comp products—from maintaining loss-sensitive programs to leading large-scale updates and regulatory filings. As a subject matter expert, you’ll collaborate with teams across Underwriting, Claims, Legal, and Actuarial, and support system transformation efforts. This role also involves technical support across affiliate companies.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise in bureau circulars, filings, and regulatory approval
- Deep knowledge of NCCI and state-specific rules, forms, and rates
- Skills in alternative rating (large deductible, retro, NY FTZ, etc.)
- Proficiency in creating custom forms, rules, and pricing models
- Ability to manually rate and build loss-sensitive policies
- Strong grasp of competitor products and market trends
- Excellent technical writing, research, and training skills
- Excellent presentation abilities
- Comfortable tools like Excel, Verisk Mozart, and NCCI platforms
- Able to work hybrid and travel periodically
