This role involves supporting capital projects, leading hazard analyses, managing incident investigations, and coordinating with emergency services while fostering a strong safety culture and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Safety and Health, or a related field.
- 5-7 years managing site-level safety programs, including 5+ years handling hazardous substances.
- Hands-on experience leading PHAs/HAZOPs and evaluating projects.
- Background in lab, manufacturing, sterilization, and warehouse environments.
- Proficiency in OSHA, PSM, EPA regulations, building codes, and preparing environmental permits.
- Experience conducting PSM audits and implementing high hazard/environmental management systems.
- Familiarity with environmental permitting, such as US Title V or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
