A global medical device manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead maintenance operations in a highly regulated, precision-driven production environment.
This is a leadership role for someone with strong technical expertise in Swiss CNC screw machines and a proven ability to drive equipment reliability, uptime, and team performance.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team
- Own preventative maintenance programs across CNC and facility equipment
- Drive equipment uptime through troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor/service contracts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 13485, and internal quality standards
- Partner on capital equipment projects and long-term facility planning
- Oversee and support company-wide safety initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance lead
- Strong hands-on experience with Swiss CNC machine repair (required)
- Tornos / Deco 10 & 13 / Swiss Nano experience strongly preferred
- Background in CNC troubleshooting, electrical/mechanical systems, and facility maintenance
- Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and budgets
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma required; technical or engineering background preferred
- CMM certification is a plus
