The Opportunity:
As an Excess Casualty Underwriter, you’ll underwrite and price new and renewal business while building strong relationships with wholesale partners. You’ll ensure data accuracy, monitor agency performance, and collaborate with internal teams—including Loss Control, Claims, and Accounting—to support profitable growth. Staying informed on industry trends and market activity will also be key to your success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5–7 years of Excess Casualty underwriting experience
- Strong understanding of small account commercial risks
- Track record of building successful relationships with wholesale partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant underwriting systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
