About the Role:
As an Environmental Underwriter, you’ll manage broker relationships while underwriting a variety of environmental and casualty lines, with a focus on the Environmental Services sector. You’ll assess and price coverages including Pollution, Professional Liability, General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and Excess, ensuring both profitability and sustainable portfolio growth. Beyond individual accounts, you’ll oversee the overall book of business—driving new opportunities, maintaining strong renewal retention, and supporting division objectives. From financial reviews to processing renewals and endorsements, this role allows you to manage the full underwriting cycle while partnering closely with brokers to deliver tailored solutions.

The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Risk Management, Environmental Sciences, or related field)
- 5–10 years of commercial underwriting experience, including multi-line rating expertise
- Ability to thrive in a digital, paperless work environment
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and email platforms
- Proven experience leveraging tools and data for risk evaluation, pricing, and account management
