A global industrial manufacturer is looking for a hands-on Controls Engineer to join a high-volume flagship production facility where things are always moving - and downtime isn’t an option.
This is a deeply technical PLC-focused role for someone who enjoys solving real problems on the plant floor, building systems from the ground up, and working with Rockwell automation in a complex manufacturing environment.
What you’ll do:
You’ll own the PLC/HMI systems that keep production and test equipment running—jumping into live issues on the floor and making systems faster, smarter, and more reliable.

What you’ll do:
You’ll own the PLC/HMI systems that keep production and test equipment running—jumping into live issues on the floor and making systems faster, smarter, and more reliable.
- Build, program, and support PLC/HMI systems
- Troubleshoot real-time controls issues on production equipment
- Improve test systems, data flow, and equipment performance
- Support upgrades, root cause analysis, and capital projects
- BS in Engineering
- 5+ years Controls/Test Engineering in manufacturing
- Ability to build PLC logic from concept to deployment
- Strong Rockwell experience (Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk)
- Hands-on PLC/HMI programming in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting of automated systems
- Exposure to SQL / manufacturing data systems (preferred)
- SCADA (Ignition), LabVIEW/TestStand, scripting, structured problem-solving (8D/A3/PFMEA), and/or capital project experience (preferred)
