They’re currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join their growing team.
About the Role:
New position due to growth! As a Controls Engineer, you’ll take ownership of specialty automated equipment—including robotics, drives, PLCs, vision systems, and safety circuits—while supporting production across multiple local sites (no travel beyond those). You’ll troubleshoot and optimize machine controls, assist with electro-mechanical repairs, manage engineering projects, and maintain documentation to help drive quality, efficiency, and uptime.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (or related field) and 8+ years of experience as a Controls or Automation Engineer. Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley), strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of electrical/mechanical systems are essential. Ideal candidates have a background in metal forming or high-volume manufacturing, experience in regulated industries (Medical Devices or Aerospace), and a focus on controls and automation. Strong communication skills and familiarity with robotics, motion control, and safety systems are a plus.
