We’re seeking a Casualty Underwriter to join their growing specialty division, with a strong focus on the Environmental Services Industry. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex, multi-line risks while building deep broker relationships and growing a profitable book of business.
 
About the Role
As a Casualty Underwriter, you’ll work closely with assigned retail and wholesale brokers to underwrite a broad range of casualty lines, including Pollution, Professional Liability, General Liability, Automobile, Workers’ Compensation, and Excess. You’ll manage the full underwriting lifecycle—new business, renewals, and endorsements—while supporting strategic growth and profitability for the division.
 
The Ideal Candidate Has

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Risk Management or Environmental Sciences)
• 5–10 years of commercial underwriting experience, including multi-line rating
• Experience underwriting casualty lines within environmental or specialty markets strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and underwriting systems
• Relationship-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a production-focused environment
