They’re seeking a Captive and Program Underwriting Specialist to underwrite new and renewal commercial risks, price complex coverage, and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations. You’ll use consultative selling to drive profitable growth, collaborate with Claims, Risk Control, and service teams, and mentor colleagues. This role manages new business and renewal cycles, prepares coverage proposals, builds strong client relationships, and identifies opportunities to improve processes. What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of casualty underwriting experience with an insurance carrier.
- CPCU, ARM, or other professional designations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Captive underwriting, casualty coverage, market trends, and territory.
- Established relationships with agents, brokers, and captive consultants.
- Proven skills in marketing, prospecting, and agency management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative abilities.
