The Hobson Team gathered recently on the Mezzanine at the Marquee Hartford for our annual Kick Off meeting. A highlight of the afternoon was President, Danny Cahill’s posthumous presentation of “the Jackie” Award to Jean Hobson who passed away earlier this year. The Management team presents this award annually to a team member who most embodies the ideals of Hobson Associates. Jean, along with her husband John, was a founder of Hobson Associates. As we start into our 40th year in business, Danny’s moving tribute was a great reminder that Jean’s significant efforts helped form the strong foundation upon which we’ve built this organization.
There was also recognition of significant personal achievement by many team members. For an unprecedented third year in a row, now Senior Partner, Jeff Vernick took top honors as Associate of the Year. He was also recognized for major account development having the firm’s top two revenue producing accounts for 2012.
Partner, Larry Botelle finished the year not only over goal but posted a new personal best in annual revenue production.
Senior Partner, Beth Schneider delivered another year of over goal performance and was recognized for her development of significant retained business in 2012.
Bill Tomek, promoted to Senior Partner at the meeting also turned in an over goal performance and set a new personal best in annual billings. Bill finished the year strong taking top honors as Associate of the Quarter for Q4.
Senior Associate, Meghann Grant was nominated for Partnership at the meeting. She was also recognized for outstanding achievement for over goal revenue production in 2012.
Senior Partner, Tim Flanagan and Senior Associate, Don Tinker were recognized for high achievement, hitting 94% and 96% of goal respectively.
