Hobson Associates is pleased to announce that Bill Tomek and Jeff Vernick were promoted to Senior Partner at our 2012 Year End meeting. Congratulations to both of them.
Over the years, Bill Tomek has landed and managed some of the firm’s largest retained clients. He specializes in building teams for clients in software, new media and professional services. Joining Hobson in 1999, Bill quickly climbed the ranks, and was promoted to Associate and Senior Associate during his first year. In 2001, he won “The Jackie,” an award given to the staff member who best embodies the ideals of Hobson Associates. At the beginning of 2002, Bill is the second-youngest person to become partner in the firm’s history. In 2012, Bill was promoted to Senior Partner.
Since joining the Technology Practice at Hobson Associates in 1999, Jeff Vernick has been placing sales and marketing talent. Jeff has built the SCM practice for Hobson and is known industry-wide in Pricing and Revenue Optimization, Retail Software, Strategy and Management Consulting, Security Software, Virtualization, Cloud, SAAS, BPM, BI, Social Media, and Digital Advertising. He’s had significant success placing senior management and sales management, individual sales contributors, pre-sales engineers, channels, alliances, and business development executives. Jeff has also filled many key marketing positions with technology clients including Vice President of Marketing and Director of Product Marketing and Product Management.
