Build and maintain relationships with federal agencies, defense contractors, and education systems, guide a high-performing team in delivering innovative training programs, and lead advisory councils to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable impact.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in workforce development, with exposure to the Submarine Industrial Base, shipbuilding, manufacturing, or defense-related industries.
- Progressive leadership experience directing large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs at the national or federal level.
- Proven success as a Program Director (or equivalent) managing industrial or federal government contracts.
- Track record of overseeing multi-million-dollar programs or contracts from concept through national implementation.
- Strong understanding of program management and business analysis processes (budgeting, milestone tracking, performance measurement).
- Experience building and leading advisory councils or governance boards.
- Advanced knowledge of federal contracting, compliance, and program management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior leaders in government, industry, and education.
- Experience leading and mentoring program and project management teams.
- Ability to travel up to 40% on a regular basis, primarily within maritime markets.
