Are you a fundraising pro who loves building relationships and leading with purpose? This is a role for you—where your work will directly shape the future of local youth and communities!

Join a well-established nonprofit known for its strong leadership, commitment to diversity and inclusion, and a collaborative culture that actually walks the talk. They’re financially stable, mission-focused, and ready for a strategic development leader to help take their impact even further.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Senior Development Manager you’ll be the go-to person driving donor engagement and fundraising strategy across the region. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, you’ll lead a small development team, manage your own donor portfolio, and bring fresh energy to the organization’s outreach, cultivation, and stewardship efforts.

Think: strategy + storytelling + relationship building + leadership…

Here’s a taste:
  • Guide and mentor your development team so they feel supported and successful.
  • Cultivate individual, corporate, and foundation donors within your personal portfolio.
  • Oversee all donor-facing communication—proposals, reports, campaigns, messaging.
  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising strategies and track progress.
  • Support major events (and own volunteer coordination for Partners in Achievement).
  • Help drive grant research, writing support, and foundation stewardship.
  • Build relationships with community and business leaders to expand visibility and impact.
  • Keep an eye on industry trends and bring new ideas to donor engagement.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If…
You’re a confident relationship-builder with a strategic mind and the ability to inspire both donors and colleagues. You understand the rhythm of development work—from moves management to major gifts—and you’re comfortable owning multiple priorities with grace and accuracy.

What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of nonprofit development experience.
  • 5+ years managing staff or team members.
  • Experience securing major gifts, corporate support, and foundation grants.
  • Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to juggle deadlines, personalities, and projects with calm and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and donor CRMs (Blackbaud, QGiv, First Giving).
  • Passion for mission-driven work and serving diverse communities.
  • Flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends and local travel.

Why People Love Working Here
  • Competitive salary + excellent medical/dental
  • Generous PTO
  • 401(k)
  • Hybrid flexibility
  • Leadership that values collaboration, creativity, and people-first culture
