As Operations Manager, you’ll be the go-to person making sure the site runs smoothly, safely, and ready for action every day. You’ll:
- Coordinate daily logistics—opening and closing, buses, lunches, and volunteer check-in.
- Ensure operational readiness with supplies, technology, and custodial/maintenance support.
- Oversee safety procedures, including emergency protocols and check-in/check-out systems.
- Support simulation programs, handling setup, troubleshooting, and tech support.
- Keep track of supplies and event logistics to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on organization programs.
- Step in as backup for the Simulation Lead Manager (tech) and the Director (budgeting and reporting).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Nonprofit Management, Operations, or related field.
- 5+ years in operations, facilities, or logistics (nonprofit/educational experience a plus).
- Skilled in daily site logistics, safety, and operational readiness.
- Comfortable with technology troubleshooting and supporting program simulations/events.
- Experience managing budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
