This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Revenue Cycle professional who understands billing, collections, denials, reimbursement, and operational improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead Revenue Cycle operations across Billing, A/R, Denials, Payment Posting, Credit Balance Resolution, and Self-Pay Follow-Up.
- Drive performance improvement through KPI analysis, denial management, process optimization, and reporting.
- Partner with executive leadership through business reviews, metrics, and strategic recommendations.
- Leverage Cerner Revenue Cycle expertise to support optimization, workflow improvements, and system enhancements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Revenue Cycle team.
- Strong hospital Revenue Cycle background with hands-on operational expertise.
- Experience managing multiple Revenue Cycle functions, including billing, A/R, denials, and collections.
- Deep Cerner Revenue Cycle experience, including optimization, build, or post-go-live support.
- Experience presenting Revenue Cycle performance metrics to executive leadership.
- Clearinghouse experience preferred (FinThrive or similar platforms a plus).
- LTAC or acute care hospital experience preferred.
