Accounts Receivable Manager – Revenue Cycle

A rapidly expanding organization is hiring a Revenue Cycle AR Manager to oversee hospital AR operations, lead a remote team, and optimize collections, denials, and reimbursement processes. This fully remote position includes up to 25% travel and offers direct access to executive leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage AR functions including follow-up, collections, and denials
• Lead AR staff and performance initiatives
• Collaborate with billing/coding to resolve claim issues
• Analyze AR data and present reports to leadership
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance

• 3–5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, including strong hospital-based A/R experience and 1–2+ years of leadership
• Hands-on experience with billing, insurance follow-up, collections, denials, payment posting, A/R aging and reimbursement
• Experience with both Cerner and Meditech; healthcare clearinghouse experience, with SSI and Waystar a plus
• Strong knowledge of middle and back-end revenue cycle, including coding, charge capture, Revenue Integrity, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes and healthcare claims
• Understanding of Medicare reimbursement, payer contracts and expected reimbursement
• Strong Excel, data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present findings to leadership
• Experience driving revenue cycle process improvements
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or related field preferred; extensive relevant experience may be considered
• Ability to work remotely and travel up to 25%
