What’s in a Fee? Me!

What is included in your fee?” …

This is a question I have been running up against lately from prospective clients. 

 …“I don’t know your company. Why should I work with you over the other million recruiting agencies out there?” 

Well, quite honestly it’s a matter of preference, I answer.  All recruitment agencies can find you talent, some get lucky at times, and we may even all fish in the same candidate pond. So what does make my fee different from the others?

I can give you all the bragging points of the organization I am proud to call home, such as:

  • The average search firm in America has been in business 5 years, we are privately owned and have been in business for 43 plus years and growing!
  • The average size of a firm is 3-5 people, we are 8 times larger with headquarters in CT, and branch locations in TX, AZ, CA and SC.
  • The Pinnacle Society is an elite consortium of 75 top recruiters in the country – we possess 5 of them and the owner was chairman for 15 years!
  • We have a methodology that has received national acclaim, with our recruiting techniques, trust based protocol and being experts in negotiation and influence.
  • The owner runs a sister company, which is the largest provider of training products to the recruiting industry, and he is available to me daily.

But besides those bragging points….I am included in the fee!  

So what DO I bring?

  • My expert knowledge of the industry. I’ve been doing this for several years, so I know my market inside and out. Plus I started out my career working in Human Resources, and know what makes an organization run, and how important making the right hire is.
  • My innate ability to read people. I won’t waste your time bringing you candidates that aren’t the right fit. Call it intuition, call it experience, but I’ve got it. 
  • My “matchmaking” abilities: For me, this adventure is all about making the right match. My goal is to have the client and candidate fall deeply for each other, and know this is where they belong. I have done this with my friends, whom I might add, are still together!
  • My caring and desire to make both clients & candidates happy- I want the candidate to believe this is the best career move for them and their family.  I feel euphoric when my candidates and clients are super happy with my work, and I have made the candidates’ lives that much richer.

Don’t assume all the calls you receive from recruiters are the same. You haven’t met me – yet!
