The first 90 days. The key is to stay close and consistent by following up with the candidate each month. Starting a new job is a wonderful season in a candidates career.
There are new people and experiences happening around them. While this is happening you, as the recruiter, have a great opportunity to continue building your relationship with the candidate during these first 3 months. Stay in conversation as to help bridge the ease of the transition and the acceptance of the new position.
Stay Close. 90 Day Follow Up Schedule. Set these dates in your calendar as to remind yourself to follow up. This will build your relationship with the candidate and the hiring manager while also being prepared for any issues that may arise and handle them before they become problems. The outcome is a happy client and a life-long relationship with the candidate.
