Don’s core area of expertise has been placing top professionals in organizations committed to the Drug Discovery process from preclinical to late-phase clinical research. He has developed many clients through the years, including Cetero Research, PPD, CRI, and United Health Group. His focus has been in sourcing and delivering the top talent in Executive Level, Sales, Business Development and Marketing.

Don maximizes the results for his clients by instituting a listen first approach. A keen awareness of his clients’ needs coupled with a personal drive to strive for perfection in effort is the way Don approaches each search and the reason clients retain his services. His attitude, effort and delivered results are contributing factors as to why many clients continue to rehire him.

Don began his recruiting career as an intern while in college. He was hired to place nurses and other healthcare professionals for Maxim Healthcare and hasn’t looked back. Don proceeded to recruit, train and manage a staff of Customer Service, Telesales and Call Center support staff for Stubhub while employed by Ultimate Staffing Services. Through his efforts, Don cultivated, managed and serviced the number-one on-premise client to become the largest on-premise account for Ultimate before joining Hobson in March 2007.

Don graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA. He is a Certified High School basketball referee with IAABO and serves on numerous committees including the Executive Committee. Don’s values are derived from deep roots in family, and he maintains a best-friend relationship with his sister. Don enjoys speaking at local schools on Career Day and has made many friends at the Red Cross during his frequent trips to donate blood and blood platelets. Don is an avid golfer and softball player.

At work or play, Don thrives in pressure situations. He wants the putter in his hand when a clutch putt needs to be made.
