Don’s early roots in recruiting began as an intern while in college placing nurses and other healthcare professionals for Maxim Healthcare. His next foray in the industry was recruiting, training and managing an entire call center staff for StubHub, while employed by Ultimate Staffing Services.

Don graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in Liberal Arts and a major in History. He is an avid golfer, and a Certified High School basketball referee with IAABO Board 10, and serves on both the Training and Better Officiating committees. Don enjoys speaking at local schools on Career Day and has made many friends at the Red Cross during his frequent trips to donate blood and blood platelets.

Don’s crowning life achievement is marrying his beautiful wife, Lindsay Tinker in June 2014. She is a teacher in the Hartford School System and in April 2019, she gave birth to their majestic son, Maverick Lee Tinker. In 2022, the Tinkers welcomed their second son into the world, Axel Richard Tinker.
