ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Underwriting Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the company’s Underwriting Department. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including special projects, product development, form and endorsement creation, underwriting audits, corporate initiatives, as well as training and development. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor, trainer, and referral authority to the underwriting team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
 

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Surplus lines experience is a must.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Advanced understanding of insurance principles, rates, rules, forms, regulations, coverages, and business processes.
• Proven ability to mentor and train staff effectively.
• Strong research skills and prior experience in project management.
