ABOUT THE POSITION:
As the Team Leader for E&O Professional Liability, your role involves developing, expanding, and managing a portfolio of business within an assigned territory. In addition to these responsibilities, you will play a key role in supporting Underwriting Leadership in the overall implementation of the segment's strategy. The range of products includes Primary and Excess Professional Liability, along with associated primary General Liability and Cyber coverages.
Your duties extend to the performance management of team members, with a focus on achieving both individual and collective goals. Leveraging the unique skill sets of team members, you will provide mentorship and coaching as necessary to oversee broker and portfolio management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training.
- Preferred Professional Insurance designations: RPLU, CPCU, CRIS, ASLI, AU, CPLP
- A minimum of ten years of experience in commercial lines underwriting.
- Advanced-level understanding of insurance products/coverage, market segment, particularly in non-admitted and excess Miscellaneous Professional Liability in the marketplace.
- Proficiency in applying underwriting/appetite, utilizing tools, systems, and resources to achieve goals and solve complex problems, both for individual portfolios and team objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and foster healthy working relationships, lead mentoring connections, and provide coaching to staff.
