They’re on the hunt for an experienced Home Office Professional Liability Underwriting Strategy Leader to join their team.
As Professional Liability Underwriting Strategy Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. As a trusted advisor and influencer, you'll contribute to and monitor Business Unit strategies, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and driving toward our risk-adjusted return goals. Your expertise in managing coverages, terms, conditions, pricing, guidelines, underwriting tools, and portfolio composition will be key to success.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years in insurance/reinsurance, covering Admitted and E&S business, Primary and Excess business, across domestic and international markets.
- 5+ years of casualty underwriting experience across various markets and insurance/reinsurance industries.
- Comprehensive knowledge of underwriting practices, procedures, tools, rating, pricing, portfolio and risk analysis, policy drafting, and reinsurance structuring.
- Proven track record of influencing and generating profitable business.
- Strong results-oriented leadership and management skills.
- Effective project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.
