They are seeking a resourceful, creative, and strategic professional to
step into the role of Development Manager and help this organization achieve new levels of success!

ROLE OVERVIEW:
As the Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's success to new heights. Collaborating with senior leadership, you will contribute to the development of stewardship programs and establish partnerships with current and prospective donors across our service area. Utilizing ‘moves management’ methodology, you will identify, cultivate, and manage individual, foundation, and corporate donors to expand their funder base and engage current donors in supporting our mission.

THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL HAS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in non-profit development, with a demonstrated track record of success in exceeding fundraising goals.
  • Proven experience in securing major gifts, individual contributions, corporate partnerships, and foundation grants.
  • Expertise in stewardship, annual/online campaigns, grant writing, and special events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build impactful relationships with diverse individuals, corporate, and foundation partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with precision and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems (Blackbaud, QGiv, First Giving).
  • Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the organization's local territory, as needed.
