Rachael’s specialty is working with Connecticut and New England healthcare organizations, facilities and medical centers to find the best direct hire, contract and contract-to-hire healthcare talent-anywhere from clinical, administrative, finance, back office and allied professionals.
Before joining Hobson Associates, Rachael worked for a national staffing company, matching professional services individuals (front and back office work) with contract, contract-to-hire and direct placement opportunities. Prior to joining the staffing world, Rachael worked as a digital media manager, starting out as a social media marketing intern, and then took on more roles and responsibilities such as creating websites, upselling services and writing blog posts. She became very interested in the sales aspect of her role, and after a relocation forced her to find new employment, she decided to take the leap into recruiting.
Rachael attended University of Bridgeport and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations. She has been a devoted ‘yogi’ for several years, finding the practice to be a balancing and healthy force in the hectic (yet rewarding!) industry that is staffing.
When Rachael was 14 years old, she got to hike a portion of the Appalachian Trail with her mother and aunt. She plans to complete the entire trail, start to finish, on her own.
