About the Role:
As a Renewal Underwriter, your primary focus will be managing an assigned underwriting territory to drive profitable growth. This includes underwriting existing clients, handling renewals, processing endorsements, and managing other related transactions.

As a Renewal Underwriter, your primary focus will be managing an assigned underwriting territory to drive profitable growth. This includes underwriting existing clients, handling renewals, processing endorsements, and managing other related transactions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years commercial lines experience or 5+ years demonstrated success in commercial lines property casualty insurance business.
- Experienced in Excess & Surplus, General Liability, and Property underwriting.
- Superb organizational and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in basic computer programs within a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and E-mail.
- Skilled in using online underwriting tools in a paperless setting, such as SAGE, Silver Plume, and Reference Connect, is an advantage.
- Preferably has advanced professional insurance coursework (e.g., CPCU, ASLI, and AU) or has completed other insurance-related classes.
