They’re seeking a dynamic Recreation Director to lead their Therapeutic Recreation Department, creating an engaging and supportive environment for their community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage daily recreational activities tailored to residents' needs.

• Develop personalized Therapeutic Recreation Plans and contribute to resident care planning.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local recreation guidelines in long-term care.

• Lead, schedule, and support recreation staff and volunteers, fostering interdepartmental collaboration.

• Maintain detailed resident participation records and manage the department's budget.

• Build relationships with community resources to expand resident involvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Director.

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic recreation laws and healthcare standards.

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
