One of Connecticut’s premier healthcare organizations is seeking an experienced healthcare administrative professional to work at their regional medical office located in the Greater Hartford area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain long term employment within a team-oriented office.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:
- Primarily front desk, focus on authorization experience
- Phone triage, scheduling, patient follow-up key responsibilities
- Rooming patients when required, when covering for clinical medical assistants
- 2+ years of experience in a front desk administrative role supporting in a healthcare facility
- Experience answering multiple phone line system
- Insurance authorization experience
- Familiarity with EHR
- Great communication skills - friendly, confident demeanor
