Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage infection control programs in line with regulations.
- Track and monitor infections, keeping accurate records for each resident.
- Identify and manage outbreaks, reporting to leadership and health departments.
- Train staff on infection control best practices (handwashing, precautions, etc.).
- Oversee vaccination programs for residents and staff (flu, TB, Hepatitis B).
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with infection control policies.
- Manage infection risks related to IV therapy and wound care.
- Participate in Infection Control Committee meetings and policy updates.
- Active RN License (required).
- Infection Control Certification (CIC preferred).
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and regulations.
