Cutting-edge Financial Services Company is searching for a high-energy and detail-oriented HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
As the Human Resource Assistant, you will provide administrative support with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
DUTIES:
• Initiate background checks and drug screenings, draft offer letters and send out new hire paperwork
• Set up new hire files
• Act as point person for all new hires through the onboarding process
• Enter, update, and maintain employee data in all internal HR systems
• Audit insurance bills and provide approval for Accounts Payable to pay vendors
• Maintain employee training platform
• Create, distribute, and collect annual performance review paperwork for managers and employees
• Maintain job descriptions and keep current as jobs evolve
• Complete and submit verification of employment requests
• Compile and accurately prepare reports/spreadsheets
• Answer the main HR phone line and transfer calls to the appropriate person
• Assist with event management of company functions
• Special projects as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1-2 plus years of Human Resources work experience
- Tech-savvy
- Exemplary communication skills
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of employees, clients, and the company.
- High level of organization; strong attention to detail
