RETAINED SEARCH - VP Business Development and Sales, Head of Operations - REMOTE
We've been retained by a rapidly growing, ag-tech start up that's at the forefront of seed breeding technology.
- They are revolutionizing the industry by improving several traits of the crop, in a fast and cost-effective manner.
- By next year, they will have over 100,000 acres of crops.
- In the last 12 months, we've placed an agronomist and two sales representatives, and they are doing extremely well!
This newly created hire will be the linkage between the agronomy and the food supply chain. This person will work from a home office (in Midwest or East coast) and report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be coming out of a food or ingredient company and have:
- Minimum 7 years of international sales management experience with 4 years in a senior management position
- Good understanding of food industry supply chain
- Outstanding consulting and sales abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
- High-level experience negotiating contracts and sales
- Willingness to travel globally as needed
