We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all HR functions for certified and non-certified staff in our public school district. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our schools, staff, and students.

Role Snapshot:
As Director of Human Resources, you'll oversee staffing, payroll, benefits, and compliance, manage hiring and certifications, and ensure adequate substitute coverage. Supervise HR staff, support administrators with employee relations, lead appraisals, and participate in collective bargaining. Ensure compliance with laws and stay updated on legislative changes.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• 8+ years of HR, benefits, or payroll experience; HR Generalist experience in a management role is ideal.

• Preferred: Experience in K-12 public schools or a similar educational setting.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in HR technology and software tools (e.g., Frontline, ERP systems).
