The Corporate Controller is directly responsible for leading all accounting and financial functions. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the monthly close process, managing client billing and reimbursement, collections, supervising accounts payable and payroll, and reporting to the parent company. You will assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures to streamline and improve accuracy in accounting practices. You’ll also directly supervise teams in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounting, ensuring efficient execution of deliverables, coaching and mentoring staff, and leading performance evaluations.
The Ideal Candidate Has:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.

5+ years’ experience managing accountants and the accounting/finance process.

5+ years in a role equivalent to a controller or higher.

3+ years of experience as a controller for a service provider, preferably in the real estate industry.

Knowledge of publicly traded corporate financial regulations (a plus).

Experience in the Life Science pharmaceuticals industry (Biotech, Pharma or CDMO)

Thorough understanding of general accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (i.e., NetSuite) and Microsoft Suite.

Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving results.

Ability to handle multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and be adaptable.

CPA Required.
