AVP/ VP of Ceded Reinsurance

They are looking for an experienced AVP/VP of Ceded Reinsurance to play a key role in managing risk and optimizing reinsurance strategies.

About the Role:
In this high-impact role, you will analyze insurance risk, structure and negotiate reinsurance treaties, and collaborate with key decision-makers to protect a diverse global insurance portfolio. You’ll work closely with reinsurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to align risk strategies with the company’s objectives. A strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry and reinsurance marketplace is essential.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum (five) 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with reinsurance-related experience preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, reinsurance fundamentals, and the reinsurance marketplace

• Experience in reinsurance underwriting, broking, actuarial analysis, purchasing, or a combination of these roles

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex risks and develop strategic solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness and ability to travel
