ABOUT THE POSITION:

This key underwriting role focuses on managing and expanding a profitable excess casualty portfolio through strong relationships with wholesale brokers. Responsibilities include evaluating risk, ensuring profitability, developing proposals, and securing underwriting approvals. The role also involves traveling to broker meetings, attending industry events, and contributing to firmwide underwriting operations and strategies, while collaborating with leadership to stay informed on market trends and pricing.
