Tim was the driving force in Hobson’s groundbreaking move to retained executive search. He has placed over 30 C-Level candidates in the last few years. As a high-level generalist, Tim has a history of recruiting the best talent for all positions in senior management across all of Hobson’s practice areas. Regardless of the industry, Tim has been able to find the best fit for positions at the C-Level (CEO, CFO, COO, CSO, CMO, CIO) as well as divisional Presidents and critical Vice President-level candidates.
Tim’s talent is that he truly understands the culture and personality of each client and the requirements of the job. When both come together, a great hire is the result. He has never failed to fill a retained search.
Tim joined Hobson Associates in 1990 and was made a principal of the firm in 1999. Since 2001, he has been an active member of the Pinnacle Society, a group of the top 75 recruiters in North America. He has been “Biller of the Year” numerous times and continues to train and mentor some of our best recruiters.
After receiving his BS in Commercial Law, Tim spent five years in Commercial Real Estate for the largest broker in Connecticut as one of its top Brokers and Commercial Leasing Managers.
Tim enjoys travel, dining, new experiences and most sports with his wife Shaun.
