Hobson Celebrates Fiscal Year-End Meeting with New Appointments, Recognition, and Record Sales for 2006

Hobson Associates, marking 33 years in the recruiting industry held their year-end meeting September 29th at the Polytechnic Club in Hartford, CT.

Hobson employees celebrated the top producing revenue year in the company’s history, and individual accomplishments included the following distinctions and promotions:

• Steve Soto, a member of the Hobson team since 2000, and head of the Biotech division, was promoted to Partner from Senior Associate. The Senior Partners of Hobson nominated and voted Steve to Partner status based on his billings, longevity, consistency, loyalty and commitment to Hobson.

• Amy Williams, in addition to holding title and responsibilities of Partner will also take on the role of Training Director, training rookie recruiters at Hobson and recruiters nationally through ATD, LLC. (AccordingToDanny), a sister company of Hobson Associates.

• Mike DeRasmo was promoted to Associate from Account Executive. Mike’s promotion resulted from meeting strategic financial goals. Additionally, Mike was named Rookie of the Year, 2006 for being top producer within his tier.

• Jeff Vernick, Partner, took top honors as Associate of the Year, 2006 and also was named Associate of the Quarter.

• Hobson recognized Stacey Eldredge as the 2006 recipient of The Jacqueline Guyette Award, Also known as the “The Jackie”. Given annually, this award honors a staff member who most embodies the ideals of Hobson Associates based on team spirit, attitude, effort, dedication and loyalty.

• Associate of the Month honors for 4th quarter went to Jeff Vernick for July; Beth Schneider for August; and to Vern Chanski for September.
